pass everything

had a cool thanksgiving– mandatory seconds; vegetarian, pork-infused, and non-pork stuffing options; scrabble; jam comíques, singing bartenders; some old traditions (a nice walk after dinner / before desert) and some new (“let your aunt text your boyfriend”). after scrabble aunt maggie fired up the HDTV and we watched a *bootleg* video of cousin kent’s high school musical– no joke, the video was recorded illegally and in secret by maggie in the front row, shooting from the hip with a palmcorder to escape detection of agents of rightsholders. we also circumvented the EULA on the marshmallows by baking them on top to the squash, modifying their use from “desert” to “entrée”. SHHHHH! i started the day by listening to one of my favorite thanksgiving songs, edan’s “beautiful food” (youtube link). CWOTTUN CYANDEE!
not sorry for the gap in recent posts- i’m fine, great even! i’m just getting ready for a massive switch-over in this-website-page dynamics. also the site got h@¢k3d, which was (and still is) frustrating. stay tooooonned and in the inbetween time, here’s my top ten (inna king kat style, which is to say, no order):
- ornette coleman “this is our music” on portable speakers as loud as possible while i ride my bike around town
- STREET TRASH– a new favorite movie- psychedelic melting sequences, a large cast of amazing derelicts, very rambling non-plot, manually-induced puking-on as insult, jesusy 1970s homebums, excellent shoplifting.
- mark lord at the dark lady, sun nov 15th. the sound was practically acid house, then at the end a bunch of transform scratching? i was delighted!!!!! and how did he get there? the traditional way- by not caring, having good lighting, and performing in an awesome drag bar!!!!!!!! also, i ordered a cape codder- that’s cute, RITE?
- miso- use as a seasoning paste or hot beverage with ginger- stay healthy.
- drawing with zickey and zarlos every (?) week for 6 hour stretches!!!
- chess with keek da sneak every tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- REGGAE SOUND EFFECTS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWAWAWAWAWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!
- peppering my conversations with french idioms and expressions to impress chicks
- THE BLACK CAT – incredible lugosi/karloff movie in which karloff is a sinister, effeminate architect in a crazy modernistic house and plays lugosi in a deadly game of chess that at one kind of dull point involves actual chess.
- being a sinister, effeminate architect in a crazy modernistic house playing chess that may or may not be deadly (ok, it’s non-deadly).
