The world is my bib

I’m in bed before eleven, visiting my nieces. The new one (which readers of mothers news may know as “Kit Kat Chocolate Bar”) is three months old, and looks not unlike Truman Capote, a feature I’m sure she shares with many other three month olds. The older niece (who for reasons of clarity we might as well call “Ocean State Job Lot”) is a running and squalking doozy, obsessed with animal mascots (especially Jack Hammer, bear mascot of the Portland dept of public works). Also very into grocery stores and excellent nicknames so we’re eye to eye there. Another good bit is that she hates to see people asleep. She freaks out. She doesn’t even like it in books. I know what you’re thinking- “this two year old has a cool hate-style”.

sending this from my phone, for real in bed. Trying to get back on a regular writing wagon- buzz back if you hear this buzzard! 10 year anniversary of fujichia is not far away… Fully weird plan to cap…
