i… don’t have an exact date on this. this blog runs wordpress now, and before that ran leonardr’s excellent newsbruiser program. before that it was running a rudimentary version of newsbruiser that i had to manually paginate… i don’t know when the first day was. but it was sometime around now, but ten years ago.

right now i’m running into some software issues, a doddering spambot infection that i just can’t suss out- for that reason and others i’m taking the massive backlog of writing down (and archiving it offsite in a big tarball) and totally redoing the page. blog might turn into just release announcements (fujichia turning back into a record label), maybe to former glory. if you catch the rss, and this is the last message you’re getting, check the site proper to grip the new feed.

gallery opening 6 – 9pm, music show at 9 until done.

because there will already be people there for the gallery part, there is a distinct possibility the show will start at nearly 9, and that a band you wanted to see will be first, so do what you like, but CAVEAT FLANEUR.

every band playing tonight has at least one member with a big boys tattoo (jacob the terrible has 2).

the new mothers news t-shirts are made. they say “EVERY MOTHER IS A WORKING MOTHER”. i’m picking them up before the show tonight and will have them there, but i wanted to put them online ASAP, so i made a mock-up that you can see at the mothers news webiste. you’ll notice that they are also FOR SALE on the website– if i could sell 5 today / tonight, that would… be really great.
